Established in 1991, ARS Dişli Profil Taşlama Sanayi is an industrial gear manufacturing and gear profile grinding workshop located in the Tormak Industrial Site within the İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone in Istanbul, Turkey. Over more than three decades, the company has developed specialized machining operations catering to small workshops, mid-sized enterprises, large industrial plants, and international manufacturing clients.

The workshop provides end-to-end machining capabilities ranging from initial manual lathe turning and gear hobbing to hardened gear tooth profile grinding and computerized quality verification. In addition to custom manufacturing based on technical drawings or physical samples, the facility handles overhaul, repair, and replacement gear fabrication for domestic and foreign industrial gearboxes.

• Niles Gear Profile Grinder (300 mm model): High-precision flank grinding from 25 mm to 300 mm
• Niles Gear Profile Grinder (500 mm model): Profile grinding capacity from 50 mm to 500 mm
• Niles Gear Profile Grinder (630 mm model): Large-diameter gear flank grinding from 50 mm up to 840 mm (and 850 mm)

The presence of four dedicated profile grinding machines from Reishauer and Niles enables the workshop to achieve precise tooth profiles and refined surface finishes on case-hardened and induction-hardened components. This critical step eliminates thermal distortions caused by heat treatment processes, ensuring accurate contact patterns and extended mechanical durability.

Dimensional Verification and Quality Control

Geometric precision is verified using an in-house Klingelnberg gear testing and inspection machine. With an inspection envelope covering diameters from 15 mm to 500 mm, the system performs comprehensive checks on tooth profile curves, lead angles, pitch variance, and concentricity runout. Gears are subjected to rigorous testing before being approved for client delivery.
