Istanbul Sanat Ferforje | Architectural Wrought Iron and Metal Craft

Rooted in a blacksmithing tradition dating back to 1973, Istanbul Sanat Ferforje manufactures bespoke wrought iron products and architectural metalwork. Operating from its workshop in the Marmara Industrial Estate within the Ikitelli Organised Industrial Zone in Istanbul, the company caters to individual residences, luxury villas, boutique hotels, commercial properties, public entities, and architectural contractors seeking custom forged iron structures.

The workshop bridges conventional handcraftsmanship with digital engineering systems. During planning and concept development, technical staff employ three-dimensional modeling, computer-aided design (CAD), laser cutting methods, and artificial intelligence-assisted design visualization to draft each installation. Experienced craftsmen then forge and finish each component by hand, preserving authentic artisan techniques while meeting strict construction tolerances.

Product Range and Architectural Applications

The company designs and fabricates functional and decorative ironwork across multiple structural categories:

• Entrance and Garage Gates: Tailored wrought iron entrance doors, garden gates, and specialized villa garage doors available in sliding, tracked, and automated motor systems. Built with sturdy load-bearing structural profiles and finished with multi-layer protective coating systems to withstand weathering, garage gate installations are accompanied by a 7-year after-sales warranty.
• Railings and Protective Grilles: Interior and exterior staircase railings across classical, minimalist, and contemporary architectural styles; decorative balcony railings; window security bars; and perimeter wall railings that enhance property safety.
• Outdoor and Garden Structures: Winter garden iron frames, pergolas, gazebos, garden pavilions, protective entrance canopies, and exterior garden lighting poles.
• Interior Furniture and Accents: Hand-forged metal beds and headboards, dining tables, chairs, coffee and side tables, entryway consoles (dressoirs), living area seating, garden armchairs, Josephine daybeds, and decorative poufs.
• Ornamental Accessories and Lighting: Custom wrought iron chandeliers, architectural wall sconces, fireplace tool sets, decorative candelabras, freestanding or wall mirrors, framing accents, and bathroom towel racks.

In addition to new project fabrication, Istanbul Sanat Ferforje provides complete drafting assistance, metal fabrication (joinery), maintenance, restoration, and professional on-site assembly for demanding architectural assignments.
