İstanbul Spot | Purchasing of used home appliances and second-hand goods

Upgrading domestic appliances, relocating, or selling surplus household inventory can often involve complex logistics and uncertain valuations. İstanbul Spot (operating as Yıldız Ticaret) has provided specialized purchasing solutions for second-hand household technology and spot appliances across İstanbul for over two decades. Operating mobile teams across both the European and Asian sides of the city, the enterprise purchases functional domestic appliances directly from residential and commercial addresses with immediate payment.

Accepted Product Categories

The company evaluates and purchases clean, operating appliances that are mechanically sound, free of motor failures, and fit for secondary use. Its procurement portfolio encompasses key household appliance categories:

• Refrigerators and Freezers: Standard dual-door units, no-frost cooling systems, high-capacity French-door/side-by-side configurations, and compact mini-fridges are assessed and acquired based on fair market values regardless of the specific brand.
• Washing Machines and Dishwashers: The firm acquires functional laundry and dishwashing units, ranging from conventional mechanical models to newer digital inverter appliances with advanced energy efficiency ratings.
• Tumble Dryers and Air Conditioners: Rapidly growing in demand, modern clothes dryers as well as wall-mounted split and standing salon-type air conditioning units are dismantled and collected directly on-site.
• Ovens and Built-in Kitchen Sets: Countertop mini ovens, cooktops, and integrated kitchen ensembles comprising hoods, ovens, and hobs are handled with professional on-site de-installation.
• Televisions and Commercial Kitchen Gear: In addition to household televisions, selected commercial catering and industrial kitchen equipment are also handled within the broader procurement range.

Appliances from well-established brands such as Bosch, Siemens, Arçelik, Beko, Samsung, and LG receive advantageous pricing due to strong market demand, high energy ratings, and accessible spare parts. Outdated scrap units, heavily oxidized products, or appliances with burned motors are excluded from purchasing.

A Three-Step Transparent Purchasing Model

To eliminate the need for sellers to manage third-party freight or wait extended periods for individual private buyers, İstanbul Spot conducts transactions via a structured three-step process:

1. Submission of Imagery: Clients capture clear photographs showing the front, sides, and technical model tag of the device and share them via WhatsApp.
2. Technical Assessment: Experienced staff assess the appliance’s brand, production era, cosmetic condition, and operational integrity to calculate an up-to-date, competitive price quote.
3. On-Site Collection and Payment: Once the quote is accepted, logistics teams arrive at the designated premises with dedicated transport vehicles. The appliance is collected, and payment is disbursed immediately on the spot in cash or through electronic bank wire (EFT/transfer).

Citywide Complimentary Hauling and Safe Disassembly

İstanbul Spot eliminates unforeseen expenses by offering free collection services. Loading, stair handling, and technical disassembly of heavy items such as built-in kitchen sets or air conditioning units are performed entirely by company technicians without deduction from the agreed purchase price. A firm pricing policy ensures that quotes finalized during preliminary photo reviews remain consistent upon arrival.

Logistics operations cover all 39 districts of İstanbul. Dedicated vehicles operate across European sectors including Avcılar, Beylikdüzü, Esenyurt, Şişli, Beşiktaş, Bakırköy, Bahçelievler, Bağcılar, Başakşehir, Bayrampaşa, Beyoğlu, Büyükçekmece, Çatalca, Eyüp, Esenler, Fatih, Gaziosmanpaşa, Güngören, Kağıthane, Küçükçekmece, Sarıyer, Silivri, Sultangazi, and Zeytinburnu. Service equally extends across Asian sectors such as Kadıköy, Ümraniye, Maltepe, and Pendik, enabling rapid same-day home visits and prompt cash conversion.
