Founded in 1996, Luko Okul ve Ofis Mobilyaları San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. entered the contract furnishing sector specializing in beech wood classroom desks. Over the years, the manufacturer integrated auxiliary component production within its own facilities, progressively expanding its material portfolio in the 2000s to include werzalit, polypropylene (PP), and polypropylene copolymer (PPC) desks. Following a comprehensive operational and design modernization in 2011, the company consolidated its presence in comprehensive project solutions for academic institutions and professional office spaces.
With a product development philosophy focused on human health and postural ergonomics, Luko prioritizes orthopedic designs and anti-carcinogenic materials suitable for extended school hours and heavy daily use. Headquartered in the Ümraniye district of Istanbul, the enterprise designs, manufactures, and equips educational facilities ranging from kindergarten classrooms and specialized high schools to foundation campuses and university lecture halls, both in Turkey and across international markets.
The company manufactures several specialized product lines adapted to modern educational architectures:
