NUR has an international background. She was born in Germany and spent her early youth in Istanbul (Bagdat Caddesi) Turkey, where the family business is real estate.

A graduate from the world’s third oldest technical university, Istanbul Technical University , NUR AKMAN earned her degree in mathematical engineering and the distinction of being Salutatorian of her graduating class! Before she choose a career in real estate services, she worked as a computer programmer, system analyst and project manager in Istanbul and New York City before relocating to Los Angeles with her husband, who was a leading real estate agent in Upstate New York.

Until she moved to America, where she met her husband who was practicing real estate in Upstate New York, she had not considered a full-time real estate career. However, NUR became his associate, and has since practiced real estate in both New York and California! Moving to Los Angeles, she joined Coldwell Banker’s Beverly Hills South office that ranked #1 in the nation in sales volume last year with over $1.7 Billion in sales!

Real estate is local and it is international. NUR chose Coldwell Banker and Previews® International because it was the best brokerage because of her international background, contacts and experience, offering her clients the best possible worldwide exposure and service. She is bilingual, and speaks Turkish and English.

She is a member-Associate of the National Association of Realtors® , California Association of Realtors®, the Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors ®, and The MLS multiple listing service.
