OBA Makarnacılık San. ve Tic. A.Ş.

Organize Sanayi (4. Bölge), Gaziantep, Türkiye

Founded in Gaziantep in 1966, OBA Makarnacılık is a leading establishment in its sector, distinguished by its high technological investments and commitment to quality production that prioritizes human health. Acquired by the Özgüçlü family in 2005, OBA Makarna operates on a 110,000 m² site in Gaziantep 4th Organized Industrial Zone, with 49,000 m² of enclosed facilities equipped with the world’s most advanced technology systems, focusing on innovative product development.

Following investments totaling 50 million Euros between 2010 and 2012, OBA Makarna now has a daily capacity of 1,215 tons of wheat milling and approximately 1,100 tons of pasta production, reaching tables in more than 100 countries.

In 2017, OBA Makarna expanded with a state-of-the-art integrated production facility spanning 50,000 m² in Sakarya/Hendek, ensuring high-quality end products throughout the production process. With a daily capacity of 1,575 tons of wheat milling and around 580 tons of pasta production, coupled with its strategic location, products swiftly reach dining tables worldwide.

Utilizing the freshest durum wheat grown in the fertile lands of Southeastern Anatolia, OBA Makarna offers consumers 40 different product varieties, produced untouched by hand in its integrated modern production facilities and supported by advanced laboratory analyses.

To further contribute to the national economy with new-generation products, OBA Makarna takes pride in operating Turkey’s and Europe’s largest noodle production facility in Sakarya/Hendek, expanding to 4 production lines. This facility achieves a daily capacity of 3,000,000 noodle packets and 300,000 cup noodles, representing a justified pride in its accomplishment.

Aligned with its sustainability strategy, half of the electricity used in the noodle production facility and 5% of the electricity used in pasta production are sourced from a total of 4.5 MW GES panels installed on the facility roof. This approach not only ensures renewable energy for production but also contributes to sustainability by preventing 3,600 tons of carbon emissions annually, equivalent to saving 71,000 trees.

The high consumer satisfaction achieved through this excellence-driven approach is not a coincidence but the very essence of its success story!
