Orvas Yachting is a yacht charter company based in the Split region of Croatia, offering a broad selection of boats and sailing experiences across the Adriatic and Mediterranean. Its charter services include sailboats, motor boats and catamarans, together with crewed yacht options and additional services designed to support different types of sailing holidays.
The company’s charter operations are based at ACI Marina Split, with an additional base at Marina Kaštela. Its offering includes both independent bareboat rentals and skippered options. Through trusted partners, Orvas Yachting also provides bareboat opportunities in Greece, Turkey and the British Virgin Islands.
Yacht Charter in Croatia
Croatia’s Adriatic coastline combines numerous islands, sheltered bays, coastal towns and sailing routes, making it a popular setting for yacht holidays. Orvas Yachting provides different types of charter boats so that travelers can select a vessel according to their preferred travel style, group size and sailing experience.
Guests can choose between sailing boats, motor boats and catamarans, while crewed yacht options are also available for travelers looking for a more fully serviced experience.
Sailing Boats
A sailing boat offers a direct connection with the wind and sea and provides a different rhythm of travel compared with a motor-powered vessel. Sailing holidays can be planned around the islands and coastal destinations of the Adriatic, with the flexibility to create an itinerary according to the chosen charter arrangement.
Orvas Yachting’s fleet includes sailing boats in different configurations, allowing couples, families and groups of friends to consider various options when planning a sailing holiday.
Motor Boats
Motor boats provide an alternative for travelers who place particular importance on speed, mobility and onboard comfort. They can be suitable for itineraries covering several destinations within a limited amount of time.
The appropriate boat can be selected according to the number of guests, planned route, duration of the charter and desired onboard features.
Catamaran Charter
Catamarans provide generous living areas and a different layout from conventional monohull boats. For this reason, they can be an attractive option for families and groups of friends looking for additional shared space during a sailing holiday.
Orvas Yachting offers catamaran charter options for both independent sailing and arrangements involving a professional skipper.
Bareboat Yacht Charter
A bareboat charter allows qualified guests to rent a boat without a professional skipper and manage the sailing itinerary themselves. It can be a suitable option for experienced sailors who want greater independence and flexibility during their holiday.
Orvas Yachting provides bareboat options covering sailboats, motor boats and catamarans. In addition to Croatia, the company offers bareboat opportunities through trusted partners in Turkey, Greece and the British Virgin Islands.
Yacht Charter with a Skipper
For guests who prefer to leave navigation to a professional, Orvas Yachting offers skippered charter services. A professional skipper can contribute local knowledge of sailing conditions, weather patterns and suitable anchorage areas.
This arrangement can be useful for travelers who have limited sailing experience or simply want to concentrate on enjoying their holiday rather than managing the vessel.
Boat Tours and Daily Excursions
Orvas Yachting also offers boat tours departing from the Split area. These excursions provide opportunities to discover destinations along the Adriatic, including islands, bays and coastal locations.
Depending on the selected trip, guests can combine sightseeing, swimming, relaxation and time on the water. The company’s current boat-tour offering includes different types of vessels and professional skipper support.
Hostess Service
A hostess service is available for guests who want additional support during their yacht holiday. Depending on the charter arrangement, hostess assistance can help with everyday onboard tasks and contribute to a more organized experience.
This service can complement crewed yacht arrangements where guests prefer a holiday with additional assistance rather than handling every aspect of daily life onboard themselves.
Airport and Marina Transfers
Getting to and from the yacht base is another important part of a charter holiday. Orvas Yachting provides transfer services between the airport and its charter bases, including ACI Marina Split and Marina Kaštela.
Organizing transfers in connection with flight schedules and boat check-in or check-out times can make the arrival and departure process easier to manage.
Yacht Provisioning
Food, drinks and everyday supplies are essential when spending several days at sea. Orvas Yachting offers yacht provisioning services to help prepare the boat with necessary supplies before departure.
Advance provisioning allows guests to spend less time organizing shopping after arrival and more time enjoying their sailing itinerary.
One-Way Charter Options
Orvas Yachting also offers one-way charter possibilities. Instead of following a traditional return-to-the-same-marina itinerary, a one-way charter can be planned around different departure and arrival points where operational conditions allow.
Such arrangements require advance planning because marina availability, route, boat logistics and return arrangements need to be coordinated before the charter begins.
Crewed Yachts and Specialized Charter Options
In addition to its bareboat fleet, Orvas Yachting’s offering includes various crewed vessels such as gulets, luxury motor yachts, luxury sailing yachts, motorsailers and small cruise ships. These options provide an alternative for guests who prefer a more service-oriented sailing holiday.
A Complete Sailing Holiday in Croatia
Orvas Yachting combines boat rental with complementary services that can support different stages of a yacht holiday. Guests can choose a sailboat, motor boat or catamaran, decide between bareboat and skippered charter arrangements, and add services such as hostess assistance, transfers and yacht provisioning.
With its main charter bases in the Split region and partner-based options in other sailing destinations, Orvas Yachting provides a range of possibilities for travelers planning an Adriatic sailing holiday or a yacht charter in Croatia, Turkey, Greece or the British Virgin Islands.
