I am new here and happy to join this group. I work in construction and project planning and sometimes we need good discussion about estimating costs and work processes. I want to ask this community about accurate painting estimating and how it can help in overall project budgeting and planning.
In many construction projects, painting work is important part of finishing and gives good quality look to buildings. But I find it difficult to calculate exact material amount, labor hours, and cost for paint jobs. Sometimes we lose money or time because estimate is not accurate. So I want to know tips, tools, or methods you use for better and accurate painting estimating in your work.
Also I am interested how other parts of construction estimation (like labor cost, material price changes, or site conditions) affect final price in general. I think this is useful topic for all who work in construction and planning.
