Our refrigerated container has the ability to maintain specified temperature conditions for a longtime in the absence of an external power source. This is achieved by the presence of power traction batteries, the power of the units from which is carried out with a decrease in temperature in the container close to critical.
The main units of such a refrigerated container are:
– semiconductor voltage inverter;
refrigeration unit; – rechargeable traction battery;
– fan;
– a system for monitoring the operating modes of units and temperature conditions in the container compartment and the data transmission system at the request of the dispatcher and, in case of exceeding the specified temperature conditions, on an initiative basis, including the locomotive driver with fixing these modes on electronic or paper media.
For these purposes, it is necessary to use converters that can operate with two power systems -25 kV AC and 3 kV DC.
In particular, the maximum power capacity of one container is up to 15 kW, the rated voltage is 380 V and the AC frequency is 50 Hz. At the same time, one train can accommodate up to 24 refrigerated containers.
