Founded in 1991 under the name AK-TEK Aluminium in Ümraniye, Istanbul, AYPEN has evolved from a small-scale aluminium and shutter manufacturer into one of Turkey’s leading producers of aluminium and PVC door and window systems.
In 1996, AYPEN completely renewed its machinery park with cutting-edge technology, increasing production capacity while enhancing product quality and diversity. In the same year, the company expanded its operations by starting PVC window and door production, offering modern solutions to meet the growing demands of the construction sector.
In 2000, AYPEN completed its corporate transformation and adopted its current title, AYPEN Aluminium Plastic Joinery Systems Industry & Trade Ltd. Co. This step marked a new era of innovation and professionalism for the company.
By 2010, AYPEN designed and launched its first veranda system, fully developed in-house, introducing winter garden manufacturing into its portfolio and becoming a trusted name in architectural aluminium design.
Today, with a 1,450 m² production area across its Ümraniye Headquarters and Beykoz Factory, AYPEN serves as a production center for aluminium winter gardens, doors, and windows.

Currently, approximately 67% of AYPEN’s production is exported to countries around the world, especially to European Union markets, making the company a recognized international manufacturer of advanced aluminium systems.
