Who is Zeki YILDIZ?

I was born in 1966 in Boyabat, Sinop. I started my education in Istanbul and completed my primary, secondary, and high school education at Küçükyalı Merkez Primary School, Küçükyalı 50th Year High School, and Kartal Commercial High School, respectively. After successfully graduating from high school in 1984, I graduated from Düzce Vocational School affiliated with Istanbul Technical University Sakarya Engineering Faculty, Accounting Department in 1986.

Continuing my professional development, I graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration, Business Department in July 2007. In 2014, I participated in the Independent Auditing License training program held by the Public Oversight Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority at Marmara University and earned the title of Independent Auditor in October 2016. In 2017, I completed trainings in Expert Witness and Mediation in Criminal Proceedings, gaining related competencies.

I began my professional career in 1989 at the office of Certified Public Accountant Ali Begun in Küçükyalı. I worked there until 1993 and then continued my career alongside Certified Public Accountant Metin İNAL at the same office. After Mr. İnal’s passing in 1998, I took over the office and have been carrying on the work with great dedication and meticulousness.

In early 2002, to offer a broader range of services, we relocated to our current address at Küçükyalı Çınar Neighborhood, Bağdat Street, Çağdaş Apartment, Block B, No:175, Apartment 42, Maltepe/Istanbul. I am currently working here as a Certified Public Accountant and Financial Advisor.

I also have an active political background. After the 1999 elections, I started politics at the Democratic Left Party in Tuzla District. I held various positions in the district administrations of Tuzla and Maltepe. I was a candidate for mayor and parliament multiple times in 2004, 2009, 2011, 2014, and 2019 elections at different levels.

Regarding my family life, I have been married to İkbale YILDIZ (ÇALIŞKAN) for over 30 years. Our son, İsa Gökhan YILDIZ, graduated from Sofia Technical University’s Mechatronics Department and continues his education at Anadolu University’s Open Education Faculty in Business Administration. My wife left her 12-year career as a civil servant at the Istanbul Treasury to support our business.
