Published regularly every month for five years under the principles of integrity, determination, independence, decency, objectivity, and honesty, Güncelhaber Magazine and www.guncelhaber.eu serve as a publication of the Güncel Foundation.
Founded in 2013, the Güncel Foundation was established to “seek solutions to our problems and act as a bridge between cultures through educational, cultural, fairs, religious, artistic, and sports-oriented activities.” To carry out this mission more effectively and benefit from the multifaceted role of the press, a magazine and website like Güncelhaber was needed.
Güncel’s Purpose
When it comes to listening, understanding, and connecting with each other in a healthy, polite, friendly, and peaceful way, Güncelhaber.nl provides a very important opportunity.
It is a cultural service that improves the relationship between our people and their communities as well as other societies they interact with.
For determining rights and obligations, following the Dutch agenda, and ensuring healthy information exchange, Güncelhaber is the most effective and accurate choice.
Güncelhaber reinforces the belief that preserving one’s own culture and values enriches society and removes obstacles to integration.
With the philosophy “Listen to us from ourselves,” it eliminates prejudices, grievances, and hatred.
While the content is 90% oriented towards the Netherlands, the publication serves as a unique platform for introducing the thoughts, beliefs, culture, social life, and historical identity of both communities to each other.
Target Audience
Everyone who can understand and speak the language is included in the target audience.
We serve more than 450,000 people living in the Netherlands from various ethnic, religious, and ideological groups.
This free cultural service is designed to be educational and informative for all ages.
Surveys show that people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds regularly follow our magazine, and this indicates a growing audience.
80% of our readers are between the ages of 14–49; the rest are children and readers over 50.
Half of the 80% are women and girls, while the rest are men of various ages.
Overall, our readers come from diverse ethnic backgrounds, and 40% hold higher education degrees.

More than 30 expert writers and section editors with academic or professional experience contribute their knowledge and expertise to Güncelhaber.
