Founded in 1982 in Istanbul, SumerGroup started its journey in plastic material production. Initially, the company operated as a supplier and contract manufacturer for all kinds of plastic injection products. Over time, we expanded into plastic pipe manufacturing and began developing our own products. Today, our portfolio includes plastic pipe, hose, profile injection, and extrusion technologies, alongside mold production and selected electrical materials.
We produce plastic materials for LPG cylinders and provide high-quality solutions in SumerGroup Cable Protection Systems, Hose Protection Systems, Polyethylene PE and Pneumatic Hoses, all available under our registered SumerGroup trademarks. Our products are distributed both domestically and internationally through strong partnerships.
Our electrical division distributes all types of electrical materials across Istanbul, Western Black Sea, and Thrace regions. Our construction and building group focuses on residential and commercial projects, delivering high-standard constructions. Given Turkey’s seismic zones, producing safe and durable structures is a strategic priority for us.
SumerGroup has also included the insurance sector under its umbrella, operating in property, casualty, health, and service insurance fields. The Sumer Insurance Group, including Ekonorm Insurance and Sumer Insurance, covers branches such as auto, traffic, earthquake (DASK), residential, fire, theft, workplace packages, transport, machinery, breakage, electronic devices, construction all risks, third-party liability, optional liability, cash security, personal accident, seat personal accident, professional liability, shared spaces, and health insurance. Our main insurance partners include Başak Groupama, HDI, and Anadolu Insurance.
